About Me
Byron graduated from Salisbury University in 1999, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting. He gained experience in both auditing and tax work at a local CPA firm in Annapolis, Maryland, as a staff accountant. As Director of Information Technology, Byron facilitated the growth of remote work forces and offices, all while maintaining a centralized IT infrastructure and providing high level of support for all employees of the firm. This design and implementation established his team as an industry leader for the use of technology in CPA firms. Byron’s background as both a CPA and a technologist allows him to close the gap that typically exists between the needs of CPA firms and technology’s ability to deliver the solutions. Byron is a Past Chair of the Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA) as well as a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) council.
