    As r2i’s Director of Marketing Strategy & Insights, Lindsay provides senior leadership on digital marketing strategy development for enterprise level accounts and oversees the execution of strategic plans for various multi-channel digital marketing accounts. Drawing on 10 years of experience in social media marketing, search marketing, display advertising, strategy and analytics, Lindsay serves as connective tissue between r2i’s Strategy, Analytics, Search, and Account teams to ensure that the appropriate digital tactics are being employed to meet client’s business goals at every stage of the customer lifecycle journey. Lindsay received a B.A. from University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. Outside of work, Lindsay serves as the Social Chair of the UVA Club of Maryland and prides herself on being a Baltimore foodie enthusiast and Ravens fanatic.

    Chris Jeffrey

    As co-founder and CEO of OrderUp, Chris drives the growth, vision and strategy of the company, while overseeing the technological innovation that makes OrderUp one of the fastest growing online and mobile food ordering and delivery services in the country. Prior to founding OrderUp, Chris attended Pennsylvania State University, where he handled sales and marketing for LionMenus, his first foray into the online ordering business. Chris is an acting board member for Penn State Outreach and Online Education, and enjoys snow skiing, traveling, and triathlon in his spare time.

    Shervonne Cherry

    Shervonne Cherry is a Creative & Social Strategy Lead for Mindgrub, a Technology Innovation Agency that fuses technology with user-centric design. Her recent projects include design for wearable technology applications and developing client strategy around interactive triggering technologies such as iBeacon. Shervonne has worked in the government, educational and private sectors for over 10 years providing creative strategy, social media marketing and mobile application design. She has a passion for design & technology and is actively involved in the Baltimore technology community as a co-organizer for the Baltimore Washington Tech Meetup and evangelist for diversity in technology. Shervonne holds a BS in Visual Communication Design from Stevenson University.

    Andrew Schuster

    Andrew is the co-founder and CEO of NewsUp.me, the current events quiz game. Andrew has an extensive background in advertising, publishing and brand development with a core focus on melding information with entertainment. After attending the Pearly Issac Reed School of Journalism at West Virginia University, Andrew co-founded and served as Publisher of ChangeUp Magazine, an online magazine and city guide focused on budget lifestyle and culture for Millennials with editions in Baltimore, DC, Philadelphia and NYC. Andrew has also worked at the Baltimore Sun and was the Vice President of Business Development for Tivilon, a digital marketing agency.

    Daniel Waldman

    Daniel Waldman is an accomplished public relations and digital marketing specialist with more than ten years of experience working with organizations big and small to develop and execute their communications programs. He began his career as an editor at Poetry.com, where he quickly discovered an interest in online communications. In late 2009, he recognized the need for an agency that provides more nimble, efficient and cost-effective services, leading him to found Evolve Communications.

    Jessica Watson

    Jessica Watson is the CEO/Creative Director of JWatson Creative, a savvy design studio that helps ambitious brands transform where they are into where they want to be. In 2013, she spent the entire year operating the business remotely while living in different cities across the country. She is also a manager for B'More Creatives , a networking and support group for women in the creative profession. Watson has been recognized in BBJ, Baltimore Magazine and the Baltimore Sun, most recently for spearheading the global initiative: 28 Days of Kindness. When she's not saving the world one design at a time, you'll most likely find her in a kayak, on a trail, or in search of her next adventure.

My relatable plain english approach to online marketing has helped thousands of businesses better understand and use the Internet. I use my experiences and love of public speaking to teach marketing workshops for the SBA, SCORE, Maryland State Bar, numerous corporations & universities.     Brendan Auvil is the Senior Director of Global Monetization Solutions (GMS) at Millennial Media. In his role, Brendan leads account management and acquisition efforts for GMS, and focuses on managing relationships with Millennial Media’s premium developer and publisher partners. His responsibilities also include consulting with partners on best practices for monetizing their mobile inventory. Over the past five years, Brendan has worked to cultivate strategic partnerships and grow Millennial Media’s publisher base of tens of thousands of sites and applications.

    Dr. Elliot King

    Elliot King is professor and chair of the Department of Communication at Loyola University Maryland, where he is a founder of a M.A. program in Emerging Media. He has written six books and hundreds of articles about new technologies including Free for All: The Internet’s Transformation of Journalism and Best Practices in Online Program Development, one of the first deep dives into online education. He is also the founder of the Media History Exchange, a social network and archive for media historians and chair of the Joint Journalism and Communication History Conference, an annual interdisciplinary conference for people studying media and communication history.
